Good! Finally the finale to that ever-increasing amount of Wolverine movies. Wolverine was never a favorite character of mine, never really on my radar of super hero interest. Why? Because he's a dangerous loner that's why. Oh sure he does super heroics but not without attitude. He's the 'reluctant hero'. And any hero who is reluctant to do the right thing shouldn't be a hero at all in my book.
Do to his rise in popularity we lost a cooler character and hero in my book, Cyclops, the original and official leader of the X-Men. To me, Wolverine is like that guy you read about in the newspaper who was a loner and eventually went bonkers and killed a lot of people. I hope that now Marvel or whoever the hell owns them (the Disney masters or Fox masters or both) can put out individual movies on some other characters.
Goodbye, 'Wolver-savage'. You titillated the baser instincts of the fan base for long enough, satisfying their primitive desires to see blood hurled and flesh torn. Hopefully the more noble fan base will be served now by the elevation of a more classy super hero in the X-Men army of characters to the silver screen.
NOTE: that character (exhibiting nobleness) probably should've been the Silver Surfer, but (unbelievably) the knuckleheads at Fox put out a shabby version of him amidst it's onslaught of stupid Fantastic Four films. This stuff aint' rocket science, people. The way has already been paved!! Why reinvent the wheel? Just film what was drawn in the damn comic books and you'll have a 5 star movie. Fucking dumb ass Hollywood jackasses (always think they know better than comic book people).
I'm George Alan Booker and I created the character known as Zombie Racer and then everyone and his mother started turning it into shitty video games and smelly gym shoes on the Internet so now it's just all over the damn place. Anyway I used to work in comic books, animation, and TV advertising storyboarding. Now I'm returning to comics again with the start of this website. Check the site ledger on the Home Page (Graphic Storytelling.com and Gallery subheadings listings) for samples of my artwork. Follow me on Facebook at www.facebook.com/zombieracer for satirical jokes and political commentary (it's where I chill at).
